The world is spinning and its not from wine!

Hey folks, greetings! If you have been watching the news lately you probably have heard about the Jet Blue flight attendant who just had enough and spun out of control. I can't say for certain and I am not sure I agree with his method, but I do understand his frustration. I am sure that each of us has had occasion to feel exactly like he did, pressured, beat upon, and dehumanized, the lack of dignity that we accord one another is astounding. We each feel the indignities of everyday life and often times use them as an excuse to lash out and inflict pain on everyone we come in contact with, its not fair and not right. We must work diligently to correct what has become a way of life, we must continually think about the golden rule and treat one another as we wish to be treated. If we do not, we risk having the exact same treatment given to this man, and we will not like it just as he did not.

We often feel powerless to change what is happening around us, and that is a wrong assumption. We can affect one person at a time, and we will do so positively if we make it our goal to everyday speak encouraging things, think and build into our lives strong moral and ethical principles that others can and will use as a good example to follow. We must work at deflecting negative vibes from those around us and creating an exemplary aura of goodwill and regular acts of kindness.

One by one those around us will notice our progress and will copy our good example. If you don't think that's true, step back and stop doing the good things you do, watch the reaction of those who have come to expect them from you. Their comments will encourage you to continue. What do you ave to loose? Try it you will come to like it!

Now while you meditate on that a while, open up a refreshing bottle of pinot noir and swirl its full bodied taste in your mouth, and relax with good thoughts, great wine, and a determination to remake your own space into a better world.
